What should I do if I have Pharaon Ants?

The Pharaon Ant reproduces itself through budding mechanism. For example, a colony of thousands of ants can divide itself in several new satellite colonies when disturbed. The new satellite colonies spread out. It is recommanded not to try to eliminate these ants yourself for that reason. Any application of smelly product has the potential of causing budding and therefore worsening the infestation.
